It has been an amazing week in Las Vegas to say the least…and one of the big highlights was my closed-door private Mastermind Day with James Malinchak, America’s Secret Millionaire. Though we’ve known each other more than 10 years, I don’t believe I’ve ever gotten so much value from a single day than what he shared with us.

And the very fact that I was selected from over 1000 applicants for this day as well as the way the day was delivered – reminded me that human beings respond best to urgency…and if we can put off making a decision, we will! 

So here are some ways you can build that urgency into your offers so that your prospects are more likely to say YES!:

  1. Deadlines – whether it’s a deadline that is a result of when a class is starting or an event is occurring, people know that they have to get in beforehand! Make it clear that if they don’t, they will miss out on the opportunity to work with you.
  1. Limited quantity – when you are selling spots in a retreat (like our 15-person Conscious Client Attraction Live events this month and in Dec.) or copies of a book or product, letting people know there are limited seats or numbers of the item will incentivize them to act quickly.
  1. Disappearing bonuses – you can also offer the first 5 people who sign up a special bonus, or those that sign up before a certain time – and once it’s gone it’s gone.
